The Ricky King Children's Fund was created in 1978 by the family and friends of 4-year-old Ricky King, who died of Reye’s Syndrome.

In establishing this fund, Ricky’s parents hoped their son could live on as a symbol of hope for the health of all children.

The Ricky King Children's Fund today is dedicated to enhancing the quality of healthcare for children in Southwest Florida, by augmenting programs and providing financial assistance to children and their families in time of need.

The organization is administered by a community-based volunteer committee with advice and counsel provided by Ricky’s family and friends.

Your contribution and dedication to The Ricky King Children's Fund will make an incredible difference for the children’s healthcare here in your community.
